How we handle personal information — both our own and the information our clients trust us to manage.

Overview

UIOP Marketing manages customer communications on behalf of its clients. This means we handle personal information in two roles: as the business responsible for our own website and enquiries, and as a service provider acting on the instructions of our clients.

Information we hold for our clients

When we run communications for a client, we process subscriber information that client has collected — typically a name and email address, and sometimes a phone number or other details the subscriber has chosen to provide. We use this information only to deliver the communications our client has asked us to send.

  • We do not sell subscriber information, and we do not use it for our own marketing.
  • We act only on the documented instructions of the client who collected it.
  • Every message we send includes a clear, working way to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing

If you have received an email managed by UIOP Marketing and wish to stop, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of that email. Your request is applied immediately. If a link is not working, contact us and we will action the request manually.

Information we hold for ourselves

If you contact us directly, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the enquiry. This site does not use advertising trackers.

Data requests

To ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it removed, email hello@uiop.ws. If your request relates to messages from a specific business, we may need to direct it to that business as the party responsible for the data.

We may update this statement from time to time. The current version always appears on this page.
